An ache that runs extremely deep!

Tonight, I come with a heavy heart.  I spent some time with a friend of mine, down at Texas Children's with a boy who is in desperate need of a second heart transplant.  He got his first heart at 2 years old and it has grown tired.  He has a cheerful spirit in spite of it, but the time for a heart is now.  It is hard to see someone so young, so very sick.  Please join me in praying for him and his family!

And then I am hurting on a very personal level for some friends back home.  Their daughter left home Monday night and has not been seen/heard from since.  Their heart is breaking and the fear must be mounting with each hour that passes!  They are deeply devoted to Jesus Christ, but the pain is real  and unavoidable when this is happening.  God made us to feel and to feel deep, especially for our children. 

As a mom who has had my oldest daughter run a few times in her own rebellion, I ache with them, only trying to fathom what it feels like to have it continue on day after day.  I am going to use all of my own social networking sites to try to help spread the word.  PLEASE watch the video.  Please re-post anywhere and everywhere.  Someone will see it and see her.  And pray with full belief in the God we love and serve who absolutely loves her the most!
